Fellow opinions on specific (listed) Cat-Backs?
Let's say I just installed Pace Setter Long Tubes and matching Off-Raod Y-Pipe.
Looking for a respectable cat-back, something that will work well with the headers to produce some power.
I see a nice Borla system for 775 bucks, than I see the SLP loudmouths for 400, and the Magnaflow system for 450. I've had friends and fellow F-body owners tell me to stay away from Flowmaster, but im not fully sure why at the moment.
any help and input / experiences is appreciated.
Also, for those reading, possibly buying a nice cat-back locally, or will pay to have yours shipped if your selling!

I have hooker headers, offroad y-pipe and the SLP loudmouth. I have heads/cam at about 400rwhp.
The good:
It is the highest quality and looks awesome from any angle.
It sounds unbelievably awesome at idle and full throttle.
It makes unrestricted power like mandrel-bent straight pipes. (because it is)
It is very loud, a lot like open headers.
The bad:
At part throttle it is raspy and sounds like **** at certain rpms (like open headers).
It drones like a m- fer.
It is very very loud.
very loud, lol
Like only the nitro cars are louder at the track and I have always been the loudest on the dyno on any given day. Funny loud.
The only reason I haven't replaced it with Magnaflow is because I drive it rarely enough that it stays cool and funny to me. Every time I fire it up I grin like an idiot.

I like Magnaflow, my car made 446/423 through one. I just sold it last week for 200.00..
BUT YOUR SUPPOSE TO SELL IT TO ME
nice numbers for a catback, I was almost deadset on that borla system as it sounded amazing, but everyone saying how nice manaflow is makes me research it alot more. Also...its 310$ cheaper which "covers" the 280 bux for long tubes

I have a Magnaflow and I love the way it sounds. My car is mostly stock (motor is 100% stock) just a few bolt-ons.
I had a Flowmaster on my car when I got it. It was loud in a bad way and I really did not like the way it sounded. It was just annoying, I got rid of it within a month of having the car.
