Bradenton, FL March 18-20 2011 NMCA opener: now with LSX Challenge Series classes!!!
www.lsxtv.com/news/breaking-news-lsx-shootout-expanded-to-three-events-in-2011/
We’ve just received word that the LSX Shootout, the premiere drag race competition for LS-powered vehicles, will expand from a single event to three rounds in 2011. In its fifth year, the Shootout will take place in conjunction with the NMCA events in Bradenton, Florida (March 18-20), Atlanta, Georgia (April 14-17), and in Indianapolis, Indiana (October 6-9). No word yet on whether these will be standalone events or part of a points series, but we expect more information at any time. We will bring you the full details just as soon as they are released, but go ahead and mark your calendars now to save the dates!
This is a big deal IMHO, especially for those that can't justify pulling north to Indy for the LSX Shootout in October. Please give it some consideration and support the NMCA and GM for believing this will work! I know the NMCA is working on final details, and I'll post up as soon as I know more. I'll likely be there working the event, so hope to see a bunch of you!

Update 1/12/11:
If you’re an LS fan then the GM Performance Parts LSX Challenge Series is what you’ve been waiting for. Developed from the excitement of the LSX Shootout, the all-new LSX Challenge Series will run at four select events in 2011:
NMCA Florida - Bradenton Motorsports Park - Bradenton, FL - March 18-20
NMRA/NMCA Georgia - Atlanta, Dragway - Commerce, GA - April 14-17
Holley LS Fest - Beech Bend Raceway - Bowling Green, KY - September 9-11
NMCA Indiana / LSX Shootout - Indianapolis Raceway Park - Indianapolis, IN - October 6-9
The GM Performance Parts LSX Challenge Series takes place as a part of the NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals (Except at Holley the LS Fest, which will have all sorts of additional LS performance activities), which means you will see the best in LS performance as well as all-domestic heads-up muscle car drag racing. All events also feature giant car shows, huge manufacturers' midways and swap meets, 300+ MPH jet cars, burnout contests and much more!
Each GM Performance Parts LSX Challenge Series event will feature all the cars and all the stars from the LS Drag racing ranks. The best part is there's a class for everyone from hardcore, like LSX Drag Radial, to LSX Rumble, a class with easy to follow index-style rules. The following three heads-up classes will run at each LSX Challenge Series event: JE Pistons LSX Drag Radial, ERL Performance LSX All-Motor, Holley EFI Real Street. Two index-style classes will also compete at each LSX Challenge Series event: Proform LSX Rumble and 5th Gen Camaro, which is presented by Camaro Performers Magazine.
The LSX Challenge Series will have a points chase and championships will be awarded for each LSX class. Custom jackets will be awarded to the top-3 competitors in each class and a custom acrylic award to each class champion. There will also be valuable racer contingencies available from NMCA sponsor for each LSX class in addition to the race purses.

it's just the master ( I think ) if not, I need to do my research before buying A clutch set up... I only drive it about, 6 times a yr so... when I do it I want A real good set up, I just need to decide if I can stand an on/off switch style the little bit of time I do drive it on the street.
