newb question i keep reading about cathedral port heads and rectangular head ports which one does the ls1 have. sry im dumb

Cathedral Port Heads On The LS-1,LS-6,LS-2 and Rectangular Port On the LS-3,LS-7,LSA,LS-9.But u can buy aftermarket LS-3 Heads that will fit on a LS-1 and Factory LS-3 Heads won't bolt on a LS-1 Because u need a 4.00 inch bore.
