We put it on hold for some other things we're doing and our shop expansion. We got as far as the T/A and the mount, and decided a 9" would be best for BackLash.
This does not mean we've given up on the 8.8 at all!
One issue we've seen so far is cost to manufacture. For not much more, you can buy a 12 bolt of 9"...I was told this by others who had attempted it, but I wanted to try it anyway. I still think there is a way to keep costs down, but we may have to mess with a few set up's initially to get it right and well enough to sell.
We also narrowed our particular rear 4" per side, so that also caused some issues. If we hadn't narroed the rear, things would have been MUCH easier!
Once BackLash is done, we will revisit this project!

OK Erik thanks alot for the response. I figured this to be true with the price being close to a 12 or 9. Especially if you do a junkyard chunk for the 9 inch. Thanks for attempt though. I'm sure it will come together one day. Thanks alot Erik.
