Default New to Florida and Need Tranny Shop Advice

I know the policy is not to post about shops that aren't sponsors, so please PM me your recommendations for a great performance transmission shop in the Viera/Rockledge/Melbourne area. I live in Rockledge, work in Viera.

We upgraded my third gen with a 383 stroker over the past summer and after explaining to my "friend" not to drive over 45 mph until I got the tranny upgraded he must have forgotten and drove the car on I-95...definitely more than 45 mph. First gear is all I got now...urgh.

Anyway, the car is a street/drag car and I need someone who knows their stuff. Is there any such shop nearby any of my new Florida neighbors and F-body lovers would recommend? Thanks a bunch!

The good ole 700r4. Why not tackle the rebuild yourself? There are tons of videos and manuals dealing with rebuilding 700r4s

I can think of a few places here in South Florida, but not so much up where you are :/ Lashway was going to be one of my recommendations but Erik beat me to the punch

I don' have time to rebuild and a warranty would be nice. Thanks for the suggestions. I had another guy contact me too. Right now, I'm confused with all the options out there -- I just want to be able to both drag and cruise. Car gets about 2-4 miles to the gallon right now with the 383 in it and the 750 cfm carb, I won't be able to cruise often, lol.

I have a Wheeler Sportsman series 383 11:1 compression stroker -- am hoping to get low 11s and make my presence known in my wonderful, new Florida neighborhood.

Thanks for the info about Lashway -- once I figure out what I'm going to do I'll make sure to contact!

For pics of the '92 Verts and whatever other cars I've owned over the last few years, check out my cardomain page. It's all there...my addiction that is.
