X's car is well beyond the safe zone on that bottom end. His lifter "tick" is probably an indication of other wear and tear that the engine is suffering even though it is still running around town.

I have lifter tick as well with the ls7 lifters. But his seems to be a different sound.
He's definitely making a lot on stock rods and pistons. Definitely need to forge at his level

Well track times sucked due to lack of traction in every gear. Ran 12.5 @ 122. 2.0 60ft
Need drag radials badly. I need some more track time with this car to get my launch dialed in. Just too fast for my nitto nt555's

it takes alot of practice for sure ! Your car was super nice I never really checked one out before alot of room in that damn car for sure ! Atleast you have the track rental coming up...
