I said if all goes well I should have the car back this coming Saturday September 8th.
Should be wrapped up, Sorry if people got the wrong impression but I do believe I put the date in all my threads and if all goes well because things can and do happen.

We had a '67 Camaro that didn't want to cooperate and tied up the dyno for a few extra days....stuff happens like that in this business from time to time. Good news is Brandon's beast is on the dyno and ready for tuning. Gotta let the rings seat as much as we can, then time for some WOT pulls.

Pics and videos to come all week.

UPDATE:

Car is making excellent power and is just about done. Because of the nature of this build, and the power it is producing, we have had to deal with a few bugs which we are sorting out. The stock tensioner could not handle the stress at WOT, and allowed the serpentine belt to walk off the pulley. No biggie, we removed the F1, replaced the belt and added a Katech solid tensioner which we carry in stock here at Lashway.

Threw everything back together, and she's good to go. Not an INCH of belt walk now.

We're almost at 700 RWHP and we haven't even added timing or meth yet!!!!

We're also experiencing a crazy amount of tire spin on our dyno. It is literally eating the tires up. Hey, what do you expect with 700+ rwhp...

A small bit of oil is also starting to push past the rear main which is brand new. We're going to replace the rear main, and improve the PCV system to keep crankcase pressure to a minimum. We have a catch can on the vehicle, so PCV is working well, just not well enough.

No problem for us, just what you get when you have 1000 fwhp!

no its the tensioner for the serpentine belt, when running higher rpm and good amount of boost it is hard on the stock style tensioner it gets so tight and when you let off gas it snaps back and creates slack and it will start jumping off the pulley and can and will break.

on another side note the rear main seal should be replaced today, saw some of the dyno pulls meth needs to be tweaked and car will be good to go baring anymore bugs. going to put a breather to help relieve crankcase pressure being caused by the procharger it happens and should fix the issue.
and the car will be a beast for sure from looking at the graphs great low and mid range torque car will be in nines with seat time. I'll update when i can..

could the pressure issue be solved by adding another breather into the other valvecover?

that's the plan if that doesnt do it then i'll have to get a vacuum pump but we think the breather option should do it.

so far it has made almost 16 lbs of boost should be ready next week, not sure when i can pick it up yet due to work schedule and weather. but more so depends on when car gets buttoned up and still needs the tuning for meth done. hopefully all bugs are worked out.

Sounds absolutely mean. Just sit some ppl in that trunk!

Erik needs to hook me up with one of those tensioners. I cannot find it on the website. I am thinking I may need one based on what I have heard here.

And hey I forgot to mention that I found out the numbers you are giving us are off a mustang dyno....just like Josepys'. I think he made 810rwhp on there mustang with his 347. Roll Tide @ Florida btw.

Two questions, 1) is your surge valve constantly releasing pressure while driving? It seems to be happening on 1st thru 3rd just crusing around not on the gas at all. Was wondering if that was because of the small pulley 3.90. 2). I've been hearing a whine after u turn the ignition off. It seems like something is winding down. Have you heard anything like that? Someone told me it might be a fan but i thought I would ask.

Maybe Erik or Josh can answer that I've not heard the car running since exhaust has been finished.

And i8 checkout katech solid tensioner.
