the surge valve is always open unless the intake manifold is seeing 0 inchs of vacuum so during regular driving it is always open. the whine could be coming from a number a things, usually a large diameter high powered fan will make noise for a couple seconds after shutting the car off

this is true. and why i always make a point to let people know the difference between bypass valves and blow off valves.

i love the whish sound that comes off a procharger before it goes WOT. and when it opens back up.

update car put down 650hp and 619tq 16 lbs of boost will have vids and track times soon

Did you by chance measure the boost pre-intercooler? What heads/cam you running?

Not sure if they did or not, i wasn't there. I'm picking car up hopefully on Saturday unless work schedule changes.
heads are 317 with 650 springs

Hey everyone...car is done...ready to go home to a proud papa.

It's absolutely rediculous...ZERO traction, that's for sure. Ready to hit the track and launch real hard off the brake.

Are those the final numbers???? I thought you would be close to 850-900 rwhp... How much timing how much meth being used??

have them measure that boost pre intercooler and after before you grab it. wanting to see how well that FMIC is flowing. the audience demands this!

It runs soo good I could grab the piping right after 3 dyno runs. Ice cold.

Im sure it does man, but these motors an charger should be putting out more power. I think the intercooler might not be flowing as good as it should. He should be seeing 18-20 psi. It's either the intercooler or belt slip... Let's wait and see the numbers at the track...

Remember. He has a small cam, stock unported heads, stock intake. Some restrictive parts.
