Default Sad day. Motor is done

Long story short. Took the car out for a ride noticed that the oil pressure dropped to below 20psi and it started making some serious noise. Made it down my street and gave it some gas and she made some more noise before shutting off completely. Thinking it spun a bearing seeing as it cranks but doesn't want to run. Plugs and top end checked out. Looks like I will be down for some time now.

We have a few forged shortblocks currently being built which we will carry in stock here at the shop. Let me know if you want to step up.

It seems like you know your stuff from the mods, but why would you give it gas after you noticed the oil pressure drop or it was making noise? Im just alittle lost on that one. but hopefully its nothing bad

It wouldn't have mattered, that thing was dead way before it shut off.

Yup like stated the motor was done for at that point so it didn't matter. It has 150k miles and doesn't owe me a thing.

Eric thanks for the offer. Its going to be some time before I am able to do anything. Right now I am pulling everything out so the motor can be removed. I have talked with Mike at TEC and its roughly 3000 to forge my motor. Problem is I have a 6 mo old son, wife, mortgage etc so it will be some time.

Bummer! Sorry to hear about the motor going south. Hopefully is repairable. I miss my sliver car, need to come back to florida and drag it up here.

Have fun and good luck!
