The LQ9 is in!!! Need a Street Tune in JAX
Well the swap is done and my Bird now has a LQ9. This was an ULTRA BUDGET build so the only mods I was able to do were: LS6 intake, Edelbrock Victor LT headers with Bullets (or Glasspack) at the collector and the the emissions crap was pulled.
I was told someone here did Street Tunes here in Jacksonville, for like $100. I think his name is Tony. Does anyone know him or the person I am talking about, or better yet, can anyone here do a Street Tune?

If I remember right, there's a guy in Keystone that did tunes. I remember at a meet, hanging out with a guy that did tunes for a lot of the guys, right from his laptop. But it's been years and I have no idea what his name is or screen name here. Thought I do think skat knows him... Hell it could be skat for all I remember, lol... I do remember the guy I'm thinking about did not like Doc from EFI Alchemy, lol...

Doc tuned my TA about 6 months ago and did a really good job. I have an automatic with the TSP 228R cam and he was able to fix my cold start, hot start, surging and stalling issues. The car also dyno'd right where I expected it. Jeff was also great to work with. All in all, I had a really good experience with EFI Alchemy and would use them again.

Got the new ride up and running already eh? Hopefully no more disasters for the poor thing after reading your last thread. That was some bad luck!
Not to turn it into a defend Doc thread, but the guy had definitely helped me out in the past trying to sort out my 24x disaster a couple years back. He was also Navy as an AT I believe so as a former AE I always end up shooting the **** with him when I visit.

Another vote for Doc here, he did a great job with my car when I took it to him. OP if you feel like driving to Gainesville, Jeremy Formato comes down there once in a while and he'll do a street tune for you. Just shoot him an email, he is on here.
