i was just down there on vaca & checking out some condos a week ago. pm me if you'd like my realtors #. shes located in st pete. traffic was the only real negative imo.

Moving out of MD Jeff? You going to team up with Heffner? FL will def be a different world for sure...great for car guys with no emissions testing and no snow! I made the move from DE to AZ this year. Lots of work and stress for sure. I would recommend renting somewhere first before locking into an area with a mortgage. Anyway, good luck with the move if you do decide.

Tampa/St. Pete is gridlocked with traffic. Even the toll roads become parking lots. Sarasota is a bit better. No point having fast cars when you are sitting in traffic everyday. And the rare occasion there isn't traffic but ends up being a cop around the corner giving a ticket to some out of state born idiot driving stupid or causing a fender bender.
