Im a dealer for you guys and knew it was in Florida but never paid attention LOL

Anybody from the PSL/Stuart area? Thinking about applying for a helicopter job down there. Was wondering how the car scene is and how the area is in general/places to avoid living/etc

Riverview/Brandon or Wesley Chapel areas are larger and nice without being "downtown" but still 20-30 mins drive away from Tampa. Plant City, Zephyrhills, Lakeland are decent, but more rural so you would have a better chance of finding something with room for a shop

^^^ the first 3 are closer to Tampa and 'more city',the last 3 are rural and nice. Zepherhills has a swap meet(not very large). Up Interstate 4 from those areas on Thanksgiving weekend is an incredible event in Daytona, the Turkey Rod Run. Along with the LARGE/HUGE swap meet, car corral, and car show, there's plenty of 'cruising'/cruise-ins on A1A,Belaire Plaza.
I like the Spring Hill area on the coast, you could find anything(shopping) you need on Rt.19 between Spring Hill and Clearwater. Mecum car auctions has their winter auction in Kissimmee.

South Brevard area, not many F-Bodys around these days. Most of the good ones are garage kept and the rest seem to be ragged out piles these days.

Miss mine for sure

Just moved from Palm Harbor to Jacksonville about 2 months ago. Only seen a handful of 4th gens running around here. I used to live here years ago, does anyone still meet up during the week, I think it used to be Tuesdays and Saturdays in a few random spots around town.

I'll be moving to the Tampa Bay area in Oct, Riverview to be exact. I'll be commuting to MacDill. My Camaro has been sitting in storage for 3 years while we PCSed to Germany. I've got several BMR goodies on my ride so I'd definitely like to check out their digs. I will also need to find a good tuner down there. My tuner is up in VA and had a he'll of a time with my cars gremlins.

I may be able to help you out then haha, there may be one or two people on the east coast that has been tuning these cars as long as I have been! What issues have you been having?

My idle is all jacked. Cold or warm starts I have to apply a bit of the throttle to keep it alive. It is running very rich smelling and has some blueish/black smoke out the exhaust under load. I've got a couple of videos of it from before she went into storage in Oct 2015, but they won't upload on here. I have them on FB or I can e-mail them to you.

Where are you based out of? I'll hopefully have my car delivered to FL sometime this winter.

Sarasota area here. Ever since having a kid I rarely get the opportunity to drive the Trans Am anymore. Now the Suburban is the daily driver.
