Sorry for your loss! There's no words to described what you must be feeling about the loss of your ride! I lived in an apartment complex near Bay Area Blvd. and El Camino Real many years ago and some thieving SOB's stole the hood of my 01 SS. A few weeks later the breather and my Holley double pumper was stolen off my 81 Z28. I figured they would be back for that Team G single plane intake manifold and I was thinking it was the same thieves because I park my cars next to each other. I was so upset I spent the next month staking out my cars hoping to catch the culprits stealing from me. I was so happy the day I moved out of Clear Lake because I swear I would have went to prison for excessive force if I had caught up to them and I know it was more than one. They got away and they didn't know it but they where incredibly lucky! There's only two places that come to mind when I think of thieve's. Buried or locked away! Preferably buried because once they get out they'll just steal again. Once a thief! Always a thief!
01CamaroSSTx, that's crazy. Those apartments across from the grocery store still have a bad reputation. I'm not sure if those are the ones your talking about. I'm in Clear Lake still and it's crazy how from one street to the next it can go from good to bad so fast.
Yeah the one with the Kroger grocery store just down the road from Mr. Gattis, I was awakened by the sound of gunfire one morning around 3:00 AM only to learn that someone in that parking lot had been killed. Apparently a drug deal that went bad.
