If you want to high speed race then rent out sebring for the day and run your event in a controlled enviornment. If you cannot get to speed there you will never will. Oh and sure we are all slow here in tampa. My little LS1 motor has nothing for ya.

I am not a trained technician and I do all of my own work and have never lost a motor nor did any of the h/c cars that I did in my garage and got paid for.

Does that make me a hero? No it doesn't, it just shows that what you do for a living can be done by anybody. I can probably train a chimp to do what you do.

I've done it all from motor rebuilds, swaps, clutches, headers and everything in between in my garage.

1 mile races are for Cars with over 1000 HP. Just because this tool cant launch his car, doesn't mean he should run with the big dawgs.

Just so you understand, i'll respond for you. Your car is quick man, all LS1's are, especially on spray. Good for you. If you think I would come to a race, with 400 to the wheels,..ONLY....your not a very smart street racer, are you. Any avid racer, knows when to shut his mouth, and when to jump on his "prey" so to speak. Your tactic's don't impress me, nor do they intimedate me.
