All-GM Oktoberfest Show @ Silver Springs Oct 6, Interest in a cruise/dyno day Friday?
Okay, the topic on the show itself is here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/other-special-events/593507-check-out-2nd-annual-all-gm-oktoberfest-car-show-silver-springs-fl-10-6-07-a.html
Here's the deal. NPD also does a Ford & Mustang show as well in January, but the show is a 2-day deal, plus Mustang Monthly has put together a "Pony Trails" cruise for the last 10 years, and it goes from NPD in Ocala to Cedar Key on Friday morning about 9:30 am, lunch in Cedar Key and then back to Ocala usually around 1-2 pm to either stop by NPD and view the car collection, find a hotel, do whatever (you get the idea). About 130 cars do the trip, which is about 1-1/2 hours each way on nice 2-lane roads about 45-55 mph.
This year, we also had a mobile dyno show up to do 2 pulls with A/F for $50 on Friday and we had 19 cars participate in a little over 4 hours time.
The question then came up: should we do a cruise and/or dyno day for the GM show in October? I know it's a Saturday one-day show, but quite a few people come in the day before, so I want to know if anyone would want to do it. If so, we'll promote it on our registration flyers before they are created in the next few months.
So vote, post up, or shoot me a PM!

I am up for it. but I still dont have my car back 20 months and counting. I am about to shoot the engine builder. I can never get a straight answer and I may have to make a personal visit at his house. but if it is here I am in.

I'm all for more cars, but remember it took 10 years to get the Ford & Mustang show from 200 cars to 1000.
The first GM show brought in 500
If we have 600+ I'll be happy. But as mentioned, the more the merrier, and just more cars to check out!
