Stolen Car!! I came out this morning and I had forgotten to close the garage now my 99 TA is gone!! If anyone is in the Sarasota area and sees anything PLEASE let me know.It's black '99 Trans Am with stock 5 spoke chrome wheels and Tampa Bay Lightning license plate.My number is (941)539-4239

I hate to be pessimistic and say you won't get your car back, but just in case you don't you need to be ready to get down and dirty with your insurance company, who will without a doubt try to screw you over the value. Start looking for every car similar to yours as far as options/miles go and their going prices. If the car is not recovered, your pain should be mitigated by being able to get as close a match as possible for a replacement WITHOUT spending any $$$ out of pocket. If they qoute you a value but cars like yours can't be had for that, fight them tooth and nail. Either way your rates will go up for filing a claim, so you might as well make damn sure your new ride is acceptable.

Get this if you think coming into the garage and taking the car is ballsy.My GF thought of checking the beer fridge and guess what...not only did the take my ride but the stole my beer too!!! AMAZING!

I don't know all the details yet but, the sheriff's dept just called and they found the car and it's driveable!!!YEAH!!!! I'll post up the details later.
