im putting the same ones back on i didnt know they were the same till i took them off but i already had the new ones. im a little pissed about. but you live and learn.
Josh, I hate to hear that. It must be the most frustrating thing imagineable. Will Patriot take them back? I would def speak with them and ask them to take them back and just charge you a 5-10% re-stockage fee.
Then again, those are good heads and you might get you something good as a trade. Quite often I see people in the 'Parts Wanted' section here wanting to trade for stuff. Brand new Patriot heads assembled and ready-to-go should bring a premium bartering agreement with somebody looking for them.
Just a couple of thoughts. Good luck and I'll keep my eyes peeled for somebody looking for a set like you got. You may even be able to trade up and get something worth a lot mor emoney ... just gotta' find the right person to barter with.

ya it kind of is i need new fuel rails and i want the abear motorsports rocker covers with enclosed coils polished and engraved. plus i need a tune for the new fuel inejectors and the ported F-90/90. i was running the stock 28 lb injectors at my power level and im surprised they even got me there.lol but now i got 42lb's.

ya i was at about 150-160% i had alot left on the table just b/c of my injectors, now im adding the ported F-90/90, 42 lb injectors. so im hoping to see 550 at the wheel. it also looks like vengeance ported the NW TB

Good luck. That would be about 75 RWHP more at the wheels than a 427 C6 Z06 ... good luck ... don't know any NA 346's that make 550 to the rear. You tossin' in a big bore block or somethin'??
apparently i have a ls2 at least thats what patriot said i have since my bolts that go in to the heads are all med. and small length indicating its not a ls1 since ls1 have med and long, and small. so that couldnt hurt towards a little extra power.
but mostly the extra fuel that can be controlled could add me 15hp maybe. and the ported fast 90/90 is suppose to add 45 to 50 is what people are saying on here. thats were im getting those numbers, but they do seem a little high to me. i can always hope

All later LS1 blocks used the same head bolts as an LS2. The Short and med ones. Changed to that setup in ~2003.
