Had a visitor today....
Had a visitor today.... Was talking with my husband by his fish ponds this morning, when something caught my eye wondering through the yard about 10 feet from us.
After phoning around for 20 minutes, I finally got someone to come out and capture it.
Made for an eventfull day, when the guys arrived to catch him, he wasn't going quietly
, the guy finally caught him but got a smack of the tail across the top of his leg for his trouble.

We guestimated around 3-3 1/2 ft tip to tail. He may have been a "little guy" but when the guy who roped him lost the noose off his snout, those jaws looked pretty damn mean wide open.
I didn't get to "pet" him no, I did almost stand on him tho' when I was trying to see where he'd gone one time (he kept hiding under my husbands ponds), and I was wearing flip-flops!!!.
