Ok if you had same car, same headers, same exhaust system, both running same boost. How much quieter is a turbo car vs a supercharger car? Or will it just sound different and be just as loud?

Not possible. Search this section for turbo pics the exhaust is crazy. I have the same exhaust now that I had N/A. Suppercharger at idle is badass, Turbo from 3k-7k rpms is badass.

not possible you need to reroute your exhaust to spin the turbo.

When I have my cut-out closed (so the exhaust must pass through the turbo, long bullet, and a HUGE magnaflow) my ST80 sounds CRAZY under boost. The engine is silent but the turbo will wake up the neighborhood on its own lol.

I know the headers cant be the same but for theory. Or if you just mounted 2 turbos at the collector of the headers. I dont care about lag.

Im running a F1C pushing 14.5 psi love the sound.at idle but after 3k rpm with the boost kicking in hard the exhaust is so loud . It is drawing to much attention so im just looking around

Ive built turbo headers before but never for any big V8 the amount of air the ls motors flow is crazy compaired to a honda or such.. I believe it makes this one of the loudest cars ive built.

the turbo cars , with open dumps , and waste gates are not much louder than hot street cars..
mack trucks actually rate the turbo as 'muffling devices"

the s/c cars will all ways be louder
except
when turbo car on 2 step and anti lag......

mine just "whisles"
