Garrett BB turbo's?

I'm posting to ask if any of you guy's have tried these. That's assuming you have them in the US. I've been looking myself at a pair of GT28's and maybe the GT30's but think 2 of them could be big, unsure which to try. Anybody tried them? This is for a stock rpm engine but on 7:1 c/r with a shed full of boost. I'm interested in other options as well if you can make any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

If that's what Incon used then they are definitely good turbos... watercooled/oil lub'd ball bearings turbos have awesome reliability

These are the same turbos that incon used. They are a great turbo. The part number on my CHRAs is, 700177-0011. These were the larger turbos offered with the Incon kit.

The smaller turbos that were offered were 446179-0032s I believe.

Not too bad Mike, thanks. The car is finally up and running (drove it around on Sunday)!

I am still working out a few little bugs, then I will be off to the track...:D:D:D:D

Hi Scott, will you keep me posted on your progress? I hope you have fun!. I'm still waiting for my kicks but the current build is 7:1c/r and I want big kicks. I'm looking at these GT28 or 30's quite seriously. They seem to be the biz but are very expensive over here. I'm also looking for a good turbo cam, probably with low or zero overlap. Any pointers? I have limited access to those Holset HX40 units. Do you know if they have been used on the LS1? Are you using after market management?
