Default Anyones serpentine belts affected by piping?

Just replaced both belts and was wondering if they are going bad prematurely due to too much heat from the turbo piping? One of the belts was cracked almost halfway through it? Doesn't necessarily look like heat damage? My crossover is about 1/2 inch from the crank pulley and heat might have been an issue? Anyone elses turbo kit have piping next to the belts? How have they been dealing with the additonal heat? thanks.

wrap your turbo piping, use a small heat shield, etc are all ways to put a stop to your worries.

I'd have the piping coated or wrap it up nice.
