It can be done easily....see signature. And that's not even maxed out on the my old combo with a 94 mm. I will be pushing them hard next year. I ported them over the past month or so and they will be strapped back on to a much larger cu. in. LSX with my 106mm.

Oh yea...I was with the Ohio Boys when they ran 7.70's at 188-189 on them. I think Mike Brown even clipped the 190 mark with them on his set-up.

For $50-$75 vs. $1200-$1500 (for tubular headers)....it's a no brainer until your making close 2000hp IMO.

has anyone down a dyno comparrison? only thing changing is from manifolds to headers? Just to see what the power gain per $ is?

If you control your backpressure well and your cam timing, its not going to be as much of an issue as thes boys from that Ohio place have shown. Which manifolds are you using on your orange car, still 6.0 truck stuff? Are they pretty weldable?

curious if there was a castiron manifold that would work with an LS and a chevelle body-i have a couple 2004 truck manifolds, but dont really fit up good-running a Procharger now, vette front acces. dr., been thinking of switching to a single or twin turbo, fig i could plumb everything to fit my ex intercooler

YOu don't have to lose your AC with the right kit... if that matters to you .... "KYTP"....

cast iron really doesnt weld using the normal proccesses, preheating is your friend, use as much heat(power) as you can. iron is normally brazed, kind of like TiG welding but with a cutting torch. im currently working with a co-worker on this as he is a Weld Engineer with a degree in Metalurgy.

mine worked. i had 01/00 manifolds on mine facing normal direction without touching A/C. it's all in how creative you can get
