I am building the hot side for my 69 Nova 6.0l twin project. I remember someone said that there were a set of mustang shorty headers they had flipped and re flanged and then added a T4 flange to as well.

Any ideas on what they were? I want to say they were a made by ford racing.

Are there any other headers I can modify that would give a reasonably clean forward facing header look?

If I cant find something reasonable I am going to just build a set of logs, but I would rather modify something...

I've heard of Mustang guys flipping the stock shorties and cutting the collector down for a turbo flange, but never anything about using them on an LS.

I have read somewhere there was a guy who used s-10 v8 swap shorty headers not mustang headers.

i like the stock cast iron truck manifolds if you can make them fit. hard to beat cast iron for a turbo header and the truck units are a nice design.
