Default tell me what you guys think about my new "blower" cam???

ok its on a LT1 388ci sollid roller stroker with heads ported and polished with a YSI on 15psi.... anyways the cam specs are 262/266 630/630 114 lsa

BTW this is a mostly drag car with roll cage and ect, dont get driven on the road much when its done!!!! what do you guys think??? jake

so whats gonna happen??? i need more spit huh LOL jk anyways i just hope it runs good, the cam was picked out by a blower guy that new what i wanted from it.... hopefully he picked out a good cam cause i put it in his hands.... i could have picked out something but wanted expert advice from a blower guy.... maybe i didnt even get that???

You want more exhaust duration to help get the exhaust out of the cylinder. You dont need any help on the intake because the blower is pushing it for you.

Your exactly right. You are forcing the air into the engine but nothing to force it out. You have to give it more exhaust duration to compensate.

i mean this cam looks pretty decent though compaired to some other solid roller blower drag cars.... it is what it is and it should be running coming up soon, wish me luck!!!!!

I agree with Josh and the other guy you could use more exhaust duration. It will run fine for you but it could be better with a longer exhaust lobe.
