Any interest in buying my complete setup? Engine,Turbo, etc? Posted here for relevance:
To sum it up, I am thinking about selling my entire combination. Complete engine, T88 turbo kit, etc. It was completely freshened last week and I am ready to re-install it for the Thunder Shootout. However, I would rather sell the engine as fresh, than to run it anymore and then sell it.
I will only sell it one way. Heads to Oil pan (no intake), and Intercooler to Downpipe. I will not separate the engine from the Turbo Kit. If someone wants to get creative, they can partner up and split the sale themselves. I just don't have the time.
I've quickly written a basic parts list of what's included, as well as pricing for each part. Some prices listed are Avg Retail prices and some are my actual cost. I have totaled each section of parts and put my selling price at the bottom of the page.
Engine:
Alum 5.7 block, 3.905 Bore w/Machine work, line honed, decked, etc. $1200
Lunati Forged 3.622 Crank $2500
Diamond Forged Pistons,thermal coated w/HD Ltwght Pins $1200
Eagle Rods $550
ARP main and head studs $400
Clevite H Bearings, head gaskets, etc. $300
misc- gaskets, timing chain, oil pan, balancer, flexplate, etc. $500
Total Seal Gapless File Fit Gapless Rings $200
Shortblock Balance and assembly $800
Lunati Custom Grind Cam $400
Lifters $200
TOTAL $8250
TEA Heads:
TEA/Judson Massengil Signature 6.0 Aluminum Heads $2700
Receiver Grooved and O-Ringed $200
Core Charge $400
SLP 1.85 Roller Rockers $450
TOTAL $3650
Custom T-88 Turbo Kit:
T-88 turbo $1800
Custom Crossover Pipe, Manifold, downpipe, alt bracket, etc. $2000
Turbonetics Racegate $400
Custom Spearco Front Mount Intercooler (same as on our standard kit) $900
Intercooler piping, custom pre-formed silicone hose, clamps, etc $500
TOTAL $5600
TOTAL: $17,500*
* I'm positive there are plenty of parts that I did not list above that would raise the cost substantially higher. As I'm typing, I realize I left out Manley 4340 pushrods..another $130. And so on...but I won't get nit-picky.
Offered at $12,500 Firm
If not sold by the end of this week, I will be re-installing it in my car and getting ready for Thunder.

That would include everything above, plus installation and tuning with the FAST system, complete New Aeromotive 1800HP fuel system, New Coan 400 Turbo Trans w/Trans Brake, New Pro Yank custom converter, Moser 9" with Nodular center section, chromemoly driveshaft, Full BMR suspension (all of BMR's Extreme parts and fully adjustable), ARE Tubular K-Member, Be-Cool Aluminum Radiator, Corbeau Racing Seats, New RJS twist Lock Harnesses, Powerslot Brakes, Hal Adjustable Shocks all the way around, FAST System w/LS1 Edit, 95lb injectors, custom 6pt rollbar, etc., etc.
The car is a '98 Z28 with 57,000 miles on it. It has never been wrecked and is fully optioned with CD changer, all power, T-Tops, ABS, etc. The car has no dings, dents, or damage of any kind. Interior is like new as well.

Just don't have the time (or money) for all of them.
