AFR dual valve springs good for boost?

Default AFR dual valve springs good for boost?

ok i can get a set of AFR dual valve springs at a good price well now the question is will they be good for a stock LS1 with a Z06 cam and 8psi i know the patriot duals are good but these are at a great price and it will save me some money there so will that set be ok with valve float they are good to .600 lift cam nonshimed i know the patriot are .650 but they are both dual let me know what you think thanks

They check out to about 130 on the seat if memory serves me correctly and about 350 at 1.250. So they would be fine for what you are doing.

I used an LS6 cam with LS6 valve springs wth 12-13psi with zero issues to 6700 rpm with stock rockers. At 8 psi either of the AFR duals should be fine..

Thank the stock rockers for that kp, the are light over the valve. That is pretty amazing at roughly 90lbs on the seat to say the least. The LS6 springs do have a decent spring rate though. We have made 730 to the tires with them before.

I ran 150mph in the 1/4 with those single beehive PSI springs that come on the Dart 225 heads with a 222/228 XE cam also at 20psi @ 7100rpm.

The stock rockers help a lot, never had any luck with aftermarket rockers on a hydraulic cam on an LS. Solid roller is a different story but that was with 1.550 springs.. That plus a blower doesnt have the exhaust backpressure like a turbo so a little float on the exhaust side wont kill power like a turbo car
