Is there a good, solid, kits with roots/twin screw superchargers?
I'm planning on building a street/road track car, definitely not drag, so I'm more interested in mid/low torque than I am with peak.
As a result, I'm not looking as strongly right now at the centrifugal style of super chargers as I was originally. I understand there are fitment/install issues with the non-centrifugal, which is why I'm asking if there's a good solid kit - this will be my first time installing something like this, and I want something planned out from the beginning that I add needed fueling parts to and then have tuned right. I just can't seem to find a kit at all that doesn't use the snail.
On a side note - how much low end torque ~do~ you lose with something like an ATI procharger?

You don't lose torque after adding a centri blower, you even generally add some starting around 2500rpm, then it goes up from there. Sounds like you should check out the Magnacharger kit. But first take a ride in someone's car with a Vortech T-trim or Procharger D1-SC. Or bigger. I might give you a better idea of what to expect.

I figured with the draw of running the SC from the crank you were going to lose power - you always do in aviation circuts, which is where I have my experience with them in general. Thanks! I'll see if anyone around has one I can ride in.

MTI has a good f-body magnacharger kit.

i put a magnacharger on an 05 gto for a customer that does autocross. you won't be diappionted. it's a blast to drive! it pulls VERY hard at low end and midrange rpms! perfect for road course racing.

Only issue I see with those si they all take hood cutting, and body lifts.
Those were the two key things I was hoping to avoid. MTI has a gorgeous looking system though.
