Default ls6,vic jr. with sheet metal 90?

i have been look at some of the threads but i cant make up my mind...408 with a 88mm... what is everybody using..street and strip!

Are you asking what style intake to go with ? People have used stock style ls6/2 intakes that have trapped 160+mph.

i use vic jr with intake elbow required minor trimming of hood and cowl area

how much porting did you do on the manifold? cuz i just picked 1 up for my build and the runners look tiny??? sorry for the threadjack

Sold my LS6 for a Vic JR....used a low profile elbow from edelbrock to make install a bit easier, no cutting.





Waiting for the 90mm TB to be delivered.

as stated before, people have put the ls6 intakes way into the single digets so its somewhat proven, i just loved the way my vic jr set-up looks .....

Fabbed elbow should flow a lot more than the edelbrock lo profile one, but I had a gift cert at summit and used it for that

Better off saving the $$$ on the intake and buying some real heads that can hold some boost, a carb intake, sheet metal elbow and still have enough left over for a nice surf & turf dinner.

Sorry Dude. I hadn't clicked the link when I made my reply. Didn't realize it was a used piece at a GREAT price. You wont be buying any good heads for under $2K even used. Good luck with the sale!
