Found this on taking out the vent. An eboost install in the f body would still be nice though.

Anyone give me a walkthrough on this .I can pretty sure get the vent out but again do I have to remove radio to run wires and hoses. Do I have to cut a hole thru the back of the venting ? I can't seem to find any faq anywhere on doing this in the center vent.

I have my trans temp gauge in the vent along with my shift light. What I did was pulled out the vent closest to the driver and drilled a hole in the SIDE of the vent tube. Then ran my wires down and under the dash. no need to remove the radio, you can reach up from under neath. Simple simple simple install. Make sure to get 2 5/8's gauge as it presses in there super nice.

Ok wiring sounds simple but have to put tube thru and run boost reference hose into the eboost from the engine compartment.
