intercooler piping? Hey ive seen a bunch of info on intercoolers but not the piping itself?? I saw a kit on ebay that had the intercooler and black tubing with red couplers for a f-bod. is that actually made for a camaro (meaning pre bent with exactly what i need) or just universal? It seems nice with the BOV flange welded and lips on all the tubing ends... thanks for any feedback! |
i didnt use that kit. i bought the cxracing 9 piece universal kit and i was able to make it work with my front mount turbo setup! |
oh nice, are they a sponsor? |
Check out our complete front mount intercooler kit http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=772 Our complete front mount intercooler assembly comes with mandrel bent steel tubing, 4 and 5 ply silicone and t bolt clamps. You won't blow this silicone apart. Bob |
If you wanna fab your own like ChevyChad did it will take a little work but the pipe itself will only put you out about $75 from Jeg's & then you can pick up the silicon couplers & clamps from a few different places for not terribly too much. Here is the link to the pipe from Jeg's. You will have to do your own cutting, fitting & welding though. But it's about the cheapest route & if done right can limit the number of silicon couplers you need. http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/42323/10002/-1 |
