Progress pics of my MPT76 Front Mount 01 SS.
This is what I plan after I mile up my DD, and get my $s whorth out of it.
couple comments & ?s
I really like the BOV close to the throttle body where it should be, ? why do I see so many
builds like this w/ the BOV just at the exit of the IC I mean there's still compressed
air in the lenght of the intake tube?
I like being able to use a stock K-member ?was it grinded any? & stock rad w/out totally butchering the rad core
surport.
when the tuner said boost comes on hard this can be controlled w/ a electronic boost controllee ? is the
turbonetics able to controll wastegate duty cycle meaning how quick boost come's on VS how long it stays on?
did you cut you're tubing w/ a mounted band saw?
? if you mounted the turbo a tad higher would this elimitate the need for a oil return pump?

Anyways, B/O location varies and doesn't really matter as all the B/O valve does is release pressure in the intake charge pipes.
Stock K was great to use, just have to notch it a bit on the pass side. Very easy.
Manual Boost controller works great. Electronic would allow you to ramp the boost.
Nope, I free handed all the bends and cuts with a reciprocating saw by clamping the pipes in my vise and cutting by the eye.
no bad eh? lol!Next build I am doing will involve 2 snails, a chopped and channeled something, very nasty.... time will tell

I read the entire build thread however never read an 1/4 ET what would you estimate it being?
Looking forward to reading you're next build.
