7psi on stock tune??

Default 7psi on stock tune??

hey guys, i would like to be able to start up my car and check for leaks and everything before i tow it to a tuner, but can i at least start it on the stock tune with the stock injectors & walbro pump? im just going to let it idle. once i get to the shop, ill put in the 60# injectors..

also does anyone recommend a FI tuner in southern california??

well at idle no load it will be 0 psi but you should be ok with it just idling. I wouldnt try to drive it though

no i wont, at the most, it would be driving it up the car ramp, if even that...

You should be okay. Just dial the FP regulator to get the A/F close if you have heads/cam. If not, you should be fine if you stay out of boost driving up the trailer lol.

Talk to Charlie @ RPM in Valencia, CA. He's mainly a corvette guy, but tunes everything GM. Has done lots of turbo @ supercharged tunes, and he stands behind his work. Nice guy also! PM me and ill send you his ###

Youll be fine moving the car around. For tuning you can try andy....(corvettes)

I was just down in the oc last week too. I could have gotten you atleast rolling.

Time to get a scan gauge.....tuner program, and a wide band maybe though...

Yeah +2 on being fine as long as you arent giving too much gas and spooling up you will be fine.

Why not just run the car without the belt installed?

As long as you didn't put a 2 bar map and not change the operating software you should be fine.

There's a local guy that has a D1SC on his T/A and it has stock tune. The fuel trims are maxed out everywhere and he says it runs out of fuel at about 4500. Supposedly does about 8spi. He's been driving it like that for a year.

It took me a while to figure it out too. The only way I knew it was because you said there was a turbo in the works in your sig.

If you leave the stock injectors in it for now, you'll be just fine at part throttle driving. Bob
