throttle body tube good for wastegate?

Default throttle body tube good for wastegate?

hey, you know the little vacuum tube coming off the pass. side of the throttle body? would that work for my wastegate? im not running a boost controller.

yes ive read the FAQ and stickies and searched.

Are you talking about the line that normally runs to the valvecover? Most people use the compressor housing but if you want it referenced at the intake that will work.

yeah that line.... but mine doesnt have a fitting on the turbo and i dont want to tap it. im just wondering if that tube is before the throttle blade technically, since the wastegate should not see vacuum

Yes, it's before the throttle body blade.
