I can't seem to find a 3.9" stroke crank anywhere. The usual suspects will make one but it costs $200-$400 more than a 4" stroke crank.

$200 extra for a custom 1-off piece tailored JUST for you doesn;t sound overly expensive to me.

Piston rock. Here's a thread where it is discussed. Many say that it is a problem that happened early on but since then the piston manufacturers have made changes to the pistons that eliminate the problem.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ston-rock.html

I personally had an LS2 402 that came apart with beat up skirts. The problem is that a race piston usually has some tapper in it so that as it gets hot under extreme conditions, the top of the piston has a little room to grow in the bore. When you drive the car alot and the piston isn't seeing the extreme conditions, the piston is rocking in the bore at BDC because the LS1, LS2 sleeve is short. I've heard some say that the iron block's bore is a little deeper but my engine builder doesn't agree.

My goal is to turn some RPM's with the new motor, have it be as reliable as possible and burn as little oil as possible. I'm probably just going to use the stock crank right now.

I'll be using the same kit with the same turbo. I'll just be moving more air with the new longblock.

Because with a stock block piston comes to far out cyl,to run twin turbos, best to limit stroke to 3.750 witch is more than stock crank for 6.0LS .
