i am new to this board,but have a forced induction car,just a little info on my car,1996 z28 ,.30 over-stock crank-h-beam rods-weisco pistons- comp cust grind 230,236-598,608 - landry s2 heads ,ati procharger,w/2 core intercooler, made 6lbs on dyno with 503rwhp 487rwtq. does this sound about right ,what do u guys think,gimmie the truth, mike

Sounds perfect to me. Those are some dam good numbers for an LT1 with only 6lbs. Those numbers should be good for high tens if your transmission and rear are up to it.

thanks for the welcome guys,it has the 7.5 rear unfortunatly,i did get on 1/4 mile 1 time,the best i could get without breaking anything was a 2.6 60ft, 8.12 1/8 at 96mph,and 1/4 was a 12.22 at 120 mph and the car would not stick in 2nd or 3rd gear,had to keep getting in and out of it,but it was fun,the car is down now,i just swapped over to a 12 rib belt set up and a 15lb pulley,has 8lb on it before and only saw 6lb,hopfully i will see 12lb out of it WHAT IS THE POWER TO BOOST RATIO ON F-BODY CARS,IM HOPING FOR 550 RWHP,WITH THE RIGHT TUNING OF COURSE,ANY TIPS ARE VERY APPRECIATED,THANKS AND I WILL LET U GUYS KNOW WHAT I GET OUT OF IT ,GONNA TRY TO GET IT GOING THIS WEEKEND,MIKE

Let me put it this way. I'm having the EXACT same problem. My car would not 60' properly because of the front suspension sitting way too low. Also I cannot slam 2-3 or 3-4 because the T-56 synchros are worn out. The best I could do was 11.37 @ 124.8 and that is WITH the problems. I started out with 12.49 @ 122 with a 2.2 60', but at least now I learned out to fight through the worn-out gears to an 11-second pass.
I have since fixed the front suspension with better springs, and I ordered a Turbo 400 with a trans-brake to "fix" the transmission issue. :devil:
Once you work out your bugs, you'll be in the low elevens if not high tens, once you change that 2.6 60' to a 1.50 60', and you resolve the shifting problem.

120mph for your setup sounds pretty decent, keep us posted as to what it makes with more boost.

This section is LT1 friendly since there is a lot of commonality to the parts.

Any plans on upgrading the intercooler. I would think the 2-core’s efficiency would be borderline w/ the power your making. I ran similar times (12.4x @ 117) w/ my old P600B Procharger w/ 3-core. Every now and then, I wish I hadn’t sold the ATI, but one look at the turbos changes that. :devil:
