Starting the maggie install on my SS
#24
Looks like you put the wipers back on, was it just the motors/linkage that would not fit? Just seems like you would leave the wiper blades off too if it wasnt going to work to cut down on some weight.
So does everything off the GTO kit work just fine in terms of snout and belt alignment? Would a kit for an LS1 or LS2 GTO fit or do you specifically have to look for one off certain years?
Also is there a way to run an 8 rib setup or does everyone stick with the 6 rib?
Thanks for the help!

Yes they are on just for looks....replied to your PM
I got a little more work done on the SS today as I installed a Volant CAI kit now all thats needed is some couplers and some polished pipe piece which should be easy to do since I"m running with a SD tune now.

I really like your blower better than mine. I like how the intercooler hoses on yours come out the front instead of the back. Yours looks much cleaner and it's much more servicable that way. Also I like how you came straight out of the blower with the throttle body. Mine has this aluminum piece. I think I may get rid of it and go with a longer piece of hose because currently it doesn't fit well with the short hose.

Sounds good......I'm just surprised that you didnt have to notch/cut your hood at all....just looking at your pictures and looking at how high that throttle body is sitting.

Just wondering, looking at one of your pics, Is the radiator hose that runs from the driver side to your water pump all the way installed? It looks like it may need to be slid all the way back over the hump, just wondering
