Default Anyone rigid mounting turbo(s) the frame with the AJE K-members?

The bushing inserts are making me nervous about mounting the turbos to the frame. Any quick/easy inserts to make them “solid”? Or even a urethane insert?

I know I can weld one up, but If there’s a quick easy solid insert it would make life easier.

Something like this maybe to stiffen it up a bit.

why not just put a bellow in the exhaust so it could have that little flex?

My turbo is mounted to the frame. I just used 2 flex joints in each of the up pipes. The turbo flange and the turbo are hard mounted to the frame. And yes, this is the AJE kit with the AJE mounts.

Mine is mounted to the frame, flex section on each runner. Those bushings aren't moving.

If you get any movement, it's going to be more from thermal expansion than the engine moving.

Thanks all, they look like they are pretty soft rubber is all. I do use bellows on my hot sides.

They're Poly mounts. Pretty tough stuff. The motor isn't going anywhere
