Default Injectors 82 lb siemens for F1d setup 408

Car is up and running but now wondering if my selection on injectors was wrong..... I have a Pontiac G8 with a 403 cu in procharged F1d with a Lonnies fuel system... I used 82lb siemens injectors... (or 80lb?)...

Is this too high or are these injectors seem about right for my setup... I am running 17.5 psi boost at 6000rpm...
(tune is very conservative now)...

the g8 has hard coded limits for the injector size and tune had to be scaled due to this hard coded limit... thoughts????

Not sure on the PCM and code but those injectors should be just right in size for your setup. Should be a great setup!

Default My Procharged '98 T/A

Couple of pics about my P-1SC-1 build. Stock bottom-end with only ARP rod bolts. Patriot CNC ported heads, CC 216/220 114 LSA, LS6 intake, tune by PCM for less, Hooker LTs & cat-back. I can see only 1 psi of boost at the time. Got to do a pressure check...

Looks good! Let me know what you find out when you pressure check the system. Bob

I just put on asters bracket wow this thing is great finally got to 15 psi on a 3.4 pully with a good k and n filter. This bracket is the best hands down tried the poormans belt wrap did not work out for me. I over tightened the super charger and blew out my front seal. So i would skip the stock procharger bracket the best i could ever get was 13 psi. THANKS BOB your the man

Yeah, I'm in the process of using the ati kit to pin the crank on the side, and realize that I have to drop the sway bar to do it. Talk about a pain in the *** considering I haven't unbolted the sway bar in probably 8 or 9 years since I put on the BMR back then.

I've got a build i hope to finally get goin correctly in jan. I've had nothing but problems out of my car. Running the 3.4 pulley. Finally got the car to boost right and the 4l60 lasted 1 tuning session and 2 passes down the track. 1st pass blew a pipe, 2nd blew the trans. I was getting about 16lbs with the poor mans method, but belts dont last long. Currently waiting on a th400 with a brake, and have a yank eliminator going in. I'd like to see a high 9sec pass outta the car

I have a question for you guys who have run both, and or tuned both sc and turbo. Which would be a easier setup to learn to tune on the street? I would like to build a turbo setup but like the cleanliness of the sc as well as keeping ac, if tuning was easier then it's a no brainer for me.

Back at the old shop we use to do a lot of tuning, and while I wasn't the one doing the tuning, it seemed to me the supercharger tunes were always much easier to get dialed in. I know time wise the supercharger tunes took much less time. Bob

It sounds like you need the Aster bracket!
