Stock untouched heads and 834/694rwhp/tq???
We generally always get people looking to go big cube on their rebuilds, and we generally try and talk people out of it. I know that sounds odd for a shop to do that, but unless the car is raced and can put more power down, this is why.
This is one of our Base Novi 2000 kits with a forged stock cube/stock head LS2, 3.25 HU pulley, ARH 1 7/8ths, ECS 8 rib kit, ECS blower cam, stage 1 fuel system, and single nozzle meth. (stock diameter balancer). It’s an A4 car with a stock converter, but a built trans with a built 3.73 rear. (I foresee the rear being switched to a 3.42 down the road)
The car drives like a pussycat out of boost, but all hell breaks loose with your foot to the floor! This is a proven package as we've done a ton of them over the last few years... But who needs big cubes or aftermarket heads when the combo is right.
More for less is the way we try and offer it, but if want more.. well we can do that too.

17lbs, and the cam is very small actually. 220's on a 115, the car idles very close to stock. It is our std 346/364 blower cam, which has done very well in both NA and FI applications, including 4DRUSH's stock head, 346 Vette, which is the only 8 second 346 IRS C5.

Meth injection does offer a power increase, but more importantly, without it we would not be able to make the 1000hp at the flywheel on pump gas without it. We would need race fuel, which would work great for the detonation, but meth also lowers the IAT temps down so you make the same power on the street or track, as you did on the dyno.

Thanks, small cam so boost stays up there. Plus that's peak numbers at nearly 7k too.

We are finalizing the instructions now on the stg 1 fuel system, I will have a thread posted soon, but feel free to call if you are in need of it now. The price, and ease of installation will surprise you!!

The ECS supercharger system is the best designed kit for Corvettes! The same head unit will support 500-900+ rwhp!!! Doug and Chris also provide the best service and will take care of their customers!

This is one reason to go big cubes. Make the same power or more on pump gas. Not a huge deal like you said, who reallly needs more power than what stock head/cubes can produce?

Thanks Bobby!!
True, but you still could not make over 800rwhp on pump gas unless it was huge cubes and super low compression, and then you have lost your normal cruise fuel economy, and bottom end. Granted fuel economy is not important to many, but most of these cars are daily driven.
Thanks, Doug
That definately does not sound like a build that we would have done, a 416 with 11lbs should make in the 700's easy, and would need better then a six rib belt. We do have nine second cars running six ribs, but the torque of a 416 would be a bit much for a stock belt.

on the way, thanks.
I'll bet! Was the fuel system upgraded with that install? (I hope) Let him know he can call us at any time if he has any questions.
