Default Took measurments for belt and cant decide which one to use.

I have a d1sc with a 3.7 blower pulley. I have a 7.25 crank pulley. With the tensioner all the way up I got 39 1/8" and with the tensioner all the way down I got 40 5/8". Now I have a K080384 and a K080400. Is the 40" gonna be to long after it stretches? I tried to get the shorter one on and couldn't get it. I know their tuff but is it to short or to I need to try harder

Finally got the smaller one wiggled on there. Now im just having trouble getting all the bolts in. I was able to get one in and got a few threads goin. Then I had to pry up on the headunit with an allen wrench through another bolt hole and was able to get a second one in. After having two of the bottom bolts in, the two top ones (one on each side) still arent lining up. Giving it a break for tonight and will try some more tommorow or saturday. Any tips on getting them things in there with a super tight belt? Thanks

Sounds like the belts is TOO tight, that could cause issues. I would just go get one 1/8" longer or so.

Tried again and still cant get the other bolts in. Decided its too tight for my likings. Went to gates website and they go straight from 38.5" to 40". I did some more searching and found gatorback makes a 39.25" that I think will be about perfect. Wont be here till Tuesday because of the holiday though
