GT35R specs:

Compressor max = 68lbs/min

Turbine max = :

0.63 = 23lbs/mn
0.82 = 27lbs/mn
1.06 = 32lbs/mn

thanks for the info,.................how does it change the flow rate of the turbo when you use, for example, a .70 exhaust housing compaired to a 1.06 housing with the gt35r?

Is that 68 lb/min the max the turbo can flow period or does it change with the exhaust housings?

http://www.squirrelpf.com/turbocalc/

has compressor maps for the gt35

nope the exhaust side merely affects the power band itself and in the case of going to small of a AR you can loose power from back pressure. the compressor side is what affects the power potential.

that makes sense.................you just have to get the right exh housings for your combo

speaking of louis, where is he, hasnt been online/posted in a while?

Bill00Formula 02-21-2010 08:23 AM

Louis's past comments have implied that his upgraded aps units make much more power than the garret gt3582s. If that's true, can the garret gt3582s be upgraded for a reasonable price?

Forced Perf can do upgrades to the gt35's just like they do for the mits 20g

DanDan 02-21-2010 04:40 PM

Interested in this information as well. Looking to upgrade my turbos this month.

How does Louis's Upgraded twins APS turbos compare to a single PT88?

bluehawk2 02-22-2010 08:28 AM

I would think they would fall short of a 88.................there are several diff 88's out there though

LG......1200+
gt4718....1400+

You have to twist it's tail to get 68................

bluehawk2 02-23-2010 08:26 AM

Thanks for correcting me

When you look at those maps what do you look for? Where is the max flow on the map. Im assuming that the pressure ratio is the compressor pressure/back pressure.

Where is the limit as far as that ratio goes?

Just need a little info so I can know exactly what im looking at.

bondosgto 02-24-2010 03:20 AM

dumbass question, these fit the gto?
