Procharger 408 ported 317's. ?????
 
Would a lightweight crank like lunatti or callies make much difference than a eagle or scat? And stock valves vs hollow any gains under boost.

i see a lot of guys with callies. i have also been wondering if a lunati crank and rods would help in a FI motor.

I have lunnati pistons, scat h beams no crank yet. I was thinking about the a eagle esp crank. Or is a lunnati and lunnati rods worth the extra.

Look at the compstar, it is pretty light and very durable. Valve weight will play a part depending on the size valve you go with and amount of boost. Also the agressiveness of the cam. There was a guy in the for sale section selling some 317's with titanium valves really cheap. May want to look at that.

Lunnati crank and rods are very nice and expensive pieces. Whether you need this level of part depends on how much hp you plan to run. VA Speed advertises 1000 rwhp FI short blocks and uses GM or Callies Comp-Star cranks, depending on size.

Do you have the heads yet? You might want to consider a set of ported L92 heads as an alternate - my guess is they would make better power.

Aiming for 850 rwhp street car no problems with drivability. Have the heads they flowed over 300 cfm. I think it should be easy and later might turn it up but for now stick with the 317's.
