Default stock crank and block, forged rods pistons - how many PSI?

Just like the title says.

The combo as it sits put down 643/673 @ 13.5psi on pump gas. Mixture was dead nuts, I think we only ran 16* timing IIRC.

How far do yall think I can push this thing on pump gas?
  • PT78
  • ARP hardware everywhere
  • studded heads, GM 6.0L MLS gaskets
  • forged rods and pistons
  • 9.5:1 CR
  • stock 317s w/dual springs
  • stock LS6 and 78mm TB
  • TH400
  • plenty of fuel system left to go bigger. IDC is ~75-82% max

I'm making around 20# with an F1A on my built 347 with patriot stage 3 317's and have yet to have an issue on pump gas and meth. I've only had about 14* of timing in it thus far.

Wow. That's pretty impressive. The meth probably helps quite a bit I bet. I have yet to get a meth kit on my car...

Wonder how much that's buying you.

I bet it puts down amazing numbers @ 20#!

On pump gas, I run about 16 psi and 13* of timing with a very similar setup. My top end flows more air with the bigger heads, intake, TB and PT88. Car runs high 9.4's in this trim. When I turn it up to 19-20 psi, I drain the pump gas and put in C16. Also bump the timing up to 17*. I know that I could go way higher on the pump gas but I am already about out of gear and out of faith in the stock PCM.
