9" all the way man. Cheap and way stronger than a 12 bolt. And doesn't weight 400lbs like a Dana 60.

Could you run a aftermarket rail and a 180 fitting with that setup?

yes, I have aftermarket Edelbrock rails but no fitting on that end. you could rotate the alt. to the left to make room for that though.

Sick write up man!

Alittle more detail would be nice though, like running vaccum lines, making the cold side and matrial used to make the piping. Oh and how you did the radiator and fans. That would help alot of people out in their build.

Really makes me want to turbo my car.

it's getting kinda annoying people wanting more info on every aspect of a truck manifold build. this thread was just an overview of how to build a hotside for an LSX with flipped truck manifolds.

nice build, it would be nice to keep the a/c though. doesn't look possible with the truck manifolds, maybe with a different accessory setup...

Yes, I believe that you use a c6 manifold facing the rear of the car on the passenger side, and curve it back around under the k-member. I wouldnt want to do that because of clearance though :-/

Hey Killer!, Great write up man.

What kind of fuel system are you using? I'm pretty much putting all of this together in my driveway, and a friend of mine and me are like, "what are we going to do for a fuel system?" I looked at him, and was like, "Havent thought about that yet..."

Most people take smoke breaks or food breaks or whatever...

...WE take ls1tech breaks. hhahahahahahahahaha.

So far I'm probably going with Nasty Performances Single Pump hotwire kit, but if everyone would rather see it get duals it will.

I know! How dare they ask technical questions on a technical forum!

I know what you mean miller, but shouldnt there be a sticky for every part at least? or one big sticky?

I'm building a setup identical to this, and theres not a fuel system sticky, or a FMIC/Cold side sticky...

I've managed to find various parts of what I need to know through little posts here and there, but I'm going to do a step by step writeup of my fuel system build as I do it, and then post it.
