Oil Feed line for front mount turbo For those that had the problem of having too much oil pressure going to their turbo's and causing that constant oil burning problem, i'd like to know those who used "nos" jets to act as orifice's, what size nos jets u used to help with that? Thanks |
Ive done that but dont remember the sizes. I had some laying around. works good. |
i think i remember it being the .060-.070 |
you should use a 60-65 for a journal bearing and some manufacturers recommend a 25-45 for smaller ball bearings |
|
i have 2 0.040 nitrous fittings |
Thank yall much!!! Gonna go to the hobby shop and get those today. |
by the way, i'm running a t76mm turbo with a high performance oil pump. the #'s of the fittings that were posted, would that work with my application? |
finished that deal i posted about. no more smoke either. thanks for all your inputs, fellas |
so not to dig up to old of stuff but i have a ON3 T76 journal bearing turbo coming. if i have a 4AN feed flange witha .08 restrictor built alreading into it, I should be good right? |
Bump. I would also like to know? sorry for bringing up an old-ish thread. The only thing I don't fully understand about front mount turbo's is the oil/coolant lines. Do we really have to drill into the block/oil pan or can we buy a special oil pan with fittings for a turbo already?? |
