Please help ( tried search no luck) wastegate question

Default Please help ( tried search no luck) wastegate question

on a gt35 turbo. will a 40mm wastegate work? or is a 38 better? ( and i do mean 40mm not 44mm) going set spring psi at 10 and push it to 22psi.

Should be more than sufficient if properly mounted.

The more boost you run, the less wastegate you need, so with 22psi, you should be fine. Even running low-boost off just the 10psi spring you should be ok. I don't see boost creep on my 10 psi spring and I run a 38mm tial. However, do your turbos have t3 or t4 housings, and what's their a/r as backpressure plays a roll as well?
