Default Result of leaving at 4300 rpms and 8 lbs. of boost

Went to MIR yesterday for a track rental. The track prep is everything that it was hyped to be. Reeked havoc on alot of driveshafts and axles. Before I broke my driveshaft at the end of the day, the car did this..... Didn't think it had it in it.

This was still rising up at this point so I had to let out of it. Still went 1.36 60' with the rear tires I guess?

Couple vids added

Looks good, either tighten up the front shocks alittle or add 15# or so and the 60' will pickup just alittle bit but you will be able to add alittle more power. What kind of boost controller?

MIR does have great track prep. I remember going there one 275 street tires and cutting 1.7-1.8 60's and then going to other tracks on DRs and not getting below 2.0 60's.

Fireball helped me scale the car so the fronts are tight. He mentioned to me that I should put limiters on and should help some too.... Right now I have a turbosmart 2 stage boost controller. Would love an ams 1000 but don't have the $$$ for that. Need to build a stout motor to handle the twin 76's first.

Thats awesome. How does the boost controller work, do you have one stage for launch and one for down track or are both downtrack and it leaves with as much boost as the motor will mechanically make?

Unfotunately it's not that complex. I have a switch to designate high/low boost. The controller has two boost setting to toggle between. Nothing progressive about it. High boost was 15 psi yesterday according to the logs. It was leaving off the two step at 8 lbs. Figure I need more seat time and the 8's will come. I only got this thing running in august.

Two weeks ago at cecil it cut a 1.31 60' with a minimal wheelie. Also it was pushing through the converter pretty bad on the top end. Did manage 151 mph out of it though @ 9.13..... Gonna give it hell next year!!!

Yesterday was scarey!!! After the wheelstand scared me, my quick disconnect wheel popped off when I launched. Kinda scarey hangin the hoops and pulling the wheel off..... Then the driveshaft broke in the rear. Made one hell of a noise.

No 8 second slip this year. Hoping after getting the converter tightened this winter that 8.90's are a breeze

look into an e-boost 2.. great street/strip compromise, maybe ask santa?

it has 6 stages that can come in automatically or manually via rpm/time/aux inputs and has an aux output via the same. also on any of those 6 stages there are adjustable in and out curves. very under rated device in my opinion. http://www.turbosmartonline.com/index.php?id=42

Nice photo! MIR always has great track prep! I did about the same style of wheelie there in '08 and it scared th shiat out of me since it was the first time my car ever came up that high. I got out of it a bit and still managed like a 10.78 or something on that run. I wish I would have stayed in the gas instead maybe I would have had new best...

I say tighten the extension damping of the shocks BEFORE trying to use a limiter. the limiter will be abrupt which can unload the rear tires, jmo. I wish I could afford enough power to have your problems
Looking good!
