That cable drive pump looks great and the brackets etc. What does that setup cost? Like you said if you do it first before others it will lessen the investment out by only doing it once.

Heading back to the dyno again this week to get the tune worked on from the the fuel pump change. I changed a couple things on the car as well. Got rid of those shitty GMPP valve covers and picked up a set of quality Nasty Performance Billet covers. I got the Kurt Urban vapor system all plumbed in and got the new breather line ran from the valley cover. Trying to get everything all together for this weekend goodguys hot rod show.

well they dont make an ls specific setup so you are on your own for the mounting to the engine but for all the needed parts and using the sprint 700 pump (proly the best pump you can buy)

I had around 1800 less filters, hose, fittings, regulator change. and then you need to mount it as well. It was expensive but man it makes a huge difference and no longer taking a big hit on the electric system

Took the car back out to Dynotune Motorsports and Brian put it up on the rollers, worked on the tune some more and amazed at how much the new fuel pump setup really helped the car, we had 4 pulls over 1000 whp with the highest being 1051 by accident. The final numbers that we settled on is 1017 whp and 1019 tq @ 17psi which is the same boost I made the 930whp at. With the help of brian really working on the tune and aid of the endless fuel supply injector duty cycle also went down to 75% and IAT were around 120* with it being over 90* and shitty airquality.

Very Excited with my FINAL numbers

Also the addition of the valley vent worked out GREAT! No more issues at all with crankcase pressure. Only a few small bugs I want to work out now and then just enjoy the car.

Here is the graph will post vid here in a few

haha trust me I want that slip and want to get to the track, I planned to be there months ago but other things kept coming up on the car I wanted to change. I have a few more things I want to change around and I still need to get the 2 step, line locks and transbrake wired to the switch. Then I need to figure out ramp rates on the boost contollers.

Obviously I am going to foot brake it when I first go out, I just want to be the most prepared for the cars first pass down the track. This Ohio heat is not helping my motivation at this point.

is there and advantage of the cable driven fuel pump vs a belt driven setup? Seems like quite a difference in price and packaging with the setup you have. I'd assume it works a little better with a rear mount tank on the cable driven setup.

Have not been the most forgiving summer for me to get the car out but was able to get the car to the track for its first outting on a local track rental day

Learned some stuff and have plenty of adjustments and want to raise the boost but right around 10psi leaving off the footbrake the car went 10.53@147mph. The car comes to life about the 330 mark. It went 2.2 60ft so I know once I can build some boost at the line and leave off the transbrake Ill be shaving some serious time!

Heres the gopro vid from that run
