Are you worried about breaking it, like I kinda am? I have a 90 and will be pushing 12psi to it this spring. I thought about selling it tho and just getting the LS6 intake thats being used alot with boost. If you worried about breaking it cause its worth money then sell it and buy an intake that has proven to hold up to boost. Just my thoughts tho. There hasn't been a lot of benefit shown with running the fast intake with boost. Mine was already on the car.

Sometimes you can find the LS6 intake on here or other places fairly cheap.

I know you can reseal the upper shell. I used black rtv. the map sensor in the back has nothing holding it in so you have to do something to help hold it in. I tapped mine to a 1/4 pipe and used a fitting with a line on it with a clamp to the map, o and make sure you loctite the lil self tappers in the middle under the intake. I spent hours sanding all the lil molding seem lines and the rough areas on the upper lid. If you really want to see how well a LS6 intake does then look up mightymouse on here. His car is in the 8's and is a full street car at 3750#

I've heard mixed scenarios on these one guy ran his 92 to only 12 psi and pulled his intake off after 1 year he said it looked as if it expanded underneath and he lost one screw and some screws where backing out of it but I've also heard ppl sayin they have ran them with no problem idk I'm mixed on what to do right now

if it were me, i would save my self the possibility of loosing 800-1000$ by blowing up your FAST, and sell it and buy something boost friendly

always wondered why the fast intakes don't hold up in high boost supposedly. why do we have to use a factory intake?

we dont have to only use factory intakes, we can use sheet metal or victor series. Although I have seen a few fast intakes work well for my tuner and the setups he has setup..My tuner is Nick at Newtech.

I run about 21-22 psi thru my ported Fast90. My deck did get distorted but I've been using it like that for over 2 years.

You can sell the 92 and get a 102. They are rated to 64 psi. A lot stronger than the 78/90/92s. Most places sell them for $800 shipped, and you can use your 92mm tb on it.

I would not use stock rails at those power levels.
