Default How much boost are you guys with big brass ones running on the stock block?

Just curious how many of you all are running 12-14psi on the stock block. I've been running about 10psi with my ECS meth kit for about 5k. I'm thinking of swapping pulleys on going down to a 3.4 which should get me in the 725-750rwhp range(limited by the cam), and cranking the meth all the way up. Probably richen it up a bit from 11.7 to like 11.2-11.4.

How many of you guys are pushing 12-14psi through the stock motor?

My setup will mimic someone elses pushing 13-14. About 100+ less hp than you're expecting

mine came apart at 13psi on turbo set up, didnt last very long. At 10psi it was happy, got greedy and cranked it up.it lasted about 500 miles of beatings at 13psi, I never figured out what broke first but one piston was gone and one rod broke completely in half but the piston was still intact in the bore..it also shoved two vavles through the head..it was cool.. completely stock 98 bottom end which are supposidly not so strong..good news is the stock rod bolts held up hahaha

Sorry for not being clear. It is the stock longblock.

I'm only pushing 9 now, but plan to go up to 14 later on in the year. Also have guys close to me running 12-16 for a few years now.

I'm not sure I want to switch. Houston is a giant city, and there are only 4 stations in Houston, none of which are near me.

02 Z06 with 57k on the clock, stone stock long block aside from the cam. I'm running an A&A kit with a Vortech YSi with 13lbs at peak, spinning it to 7k. Making right at 700 rwhp. So far so good. We're using VERY little meth to. Fixing to go back to the dyno with some new stuff and hope to be around 770ish.

Thanks for the replies, guys. My car makes around 670hp. Remember, this is just a little ZR1 cam, not a real blower cam. I went with this cam to pick up another 20hp, FI. My fiancee has been in my old Z06(24x cam), and mustang with a big cam, so she said no cam. I know I gave up 30+hp with this cam, but I can't change that right now. I just drove from downtown Houston to Dallas and back(490 miles) without refueling and the stock runflats at 37-38psi. She has no idea the car has a cam in it, and neither would I, since it idles better than the stock ls3 cam.

I just have the SI blower, not the T-trim, but I do have much more meth and more boost to take it to 720-750rwhp if I want soon(A&A 3.4 pulley is in the shop). I'm just wondering how many guys have done it? My tuner really wants to upgrade my fuel system before the change, which I might do. However, I'd like to get that stock bottom end/sus/rear/weight/m6 9 second pass.

Any input to that setup would be appreciated. I have a4 friends that run less mph in their fbodys and run 9's, and guys with bigger hp that can beat me in Mexico. I just haven't seen many Stock weight C6 ls2/3 vettes run 9's with m6's and stock stuff.

Thanks for any help!

Craptastic Oklahoma 91 octane. Only 15 or 16 degrees, I'd have to verify with my tuner.

Excellent, thanks, I always wonder what timing people run on pump gas that make good numbers like yours.
